To add AdWords labels to your PLA campaign, select the campaigns or Ad Groups you want by clicking the check box next to the campaign name. Then choose an existing AdWords label, or create new one to apply:

Inspite of all the 4 good reasons explained in the post, I still think that the AdWord Label is a feature which did not come up by chance. Google intends marketers to fully utilize its functionality.
